JANUARY FAVORITES

JANUARY HAS COME AND GONE….

Holy guacamole space cowboy! we are already a month into 2020 and I am still writing 2019 on everything.  A client pointed out that I wrote the date as 2030 the other day and I was like WTH? Just jumping the gun a little into the future I guess.

Anywho, If you’ve been here a while, you know the drill for the ending of each month… MONTHLY FAVORITES!!!

Now, I’m sure most of you who have been following me already know, BUT if you’ve never read one of these posts. I like to take an inventory of my favorite things I have stumbled upon each month and share them with you all! It will be open to anything and all things – no exceptions!

If you end up taking my advice (which come on girl, why wouldn’t you?!) and purchase or use any of the items below – TAG ME in them! I want to see you out there being the BadAss Babes that you all are!

Beats Solo3 Wireless Headphones  I have this exact pair and right now with this link you can find it on Groupon for a great deal! instead of paying $299 you can get them for $169! HELLO DEALS! Corbin actually gave these to me as a Christmas gift and I love them! I have never really had real headphones before so I was really excited to get these.  The sound quality is awesome and the best part is the battery life.  Up to 40+ hours of battery life.  I charged these up on Christmas Day and I have not had to charge them yet. I use them for about 2+ hours a day so that just blows my mind.

Yeti Dog Bowl You may be thinking I am crazy for getting a custom water bowl for my dog. I am the first to admit that I am THAT dog mom.  Just how how extra can I be? (I’m not extra, Im just extra special) hahaha.

If my husband and I love Yeti tumblers and mugs why shouldn’t our fur baby have something nice to drink out of too?!?!  These are exactly the same thing as all the cups we drink out of except for a non-slip bottom.  They are great because they are super durable, they don’t rust and leech harmful toxins into the water and you can throw them in the dishwasher for easy clean up. Plus it is personalized with her name and in Texas if it doesn’t move or breathe you monogram or customize it! Am I Right ?!?

Match Striker I am a huge sucker for anything pottery or stoneware especially if its handmade from a small business.  Susan Gordan Pottery is based out of Birmingham AL. Her stoneware is stunning and this was my first piece to my now obsession with her art.   This tiny little pot is adorable and so practical.  Set it in the bathroom on the counter for the gentlemen to use as an air freshener.  I mean it smells better than febreeze, and its not called poopourii lol.  Or you can set it on your coffee table next to your best smelling candles (I love volcano candles) and voila a beautiful and useful piece of art.  The bottom has a match striker on it to light the matches and you can choose from tons of colors and designs.  These sell out fast and I had to be put on the notify list twice before I actually got my hands on one. Susan Gordan Pottery also makes hundreds of other beautiful pieces that make great gifts for any and all occasions.

Megababe Body Powder Since moving to Texas the heat and humidity has been brutal. You can’t really go anywhere without having sweaty pits, thighs or every where else in between. Free of talc & aluminum, Megababe give you an all-natural first line of defense against sweat. With Body Dust, you don’t have to live with sweat trickling down your skin, puddling in weird places and seeping through clothes. It is made with soothing lavender and chamomile. The ultra-fine powder also has a matte, smooth finish. I use a body fluffy or powder applicator. to apply to areas in need.

I also use this stuff anytime after I self tan.  You know that sticky tacky feeling your skin has after you apply self tanner?  Well just dust some of this stuff on and you are not going to stick to your clothing while you let your tan marinade and set.

TULA: Rose Glow & Get it I recently made a few purchases with TULA the brand that is everywhere on instagram and social media.  I bought the most loved products that everyone raves about and I was definitely not disappointed.  I have super dooper sensitive skin and I have frequent breakouts.  These products are by far my favorite out of all the different brands I have ever tried.  I am always looking to find great clean beauty and skin care products that are free of all the nasty ingredients that are not necessary and so unhealthy for your body.   The glow & get it cooling and brightening eye balm stick has been my morning go-to.  I wake up very very early for work and some days I have to be there at 4:45 in the morning.  ICK.  But, with a little swipe of this stuff under my sleepy eyes I am almost instantly awake.  It feels like a caffeine shot to the eyes with a cooling sensation that wakes you up and calms the puffiness under your eyes from sleeping. Here is a list of some of the wonderful ingredients:

I have grown to enjoy waking up and putting this on every single morning. I also use a bunch of the other products but more on that later because I can only choose one product at a time to be a favorite 🙂
