Hey friends! If you are new around here you are in for a treat. Every single month I put together 5 of my favorite purchases for the month. It can literally be anything and everything you can imagine buttttt most of the time it ends up being clothing, books, beauty products and shoes. But hey what more does a girl need am I right?
For the Fourth of July we had my family get together up at the Beaver Meadows Ranch Resort for the holiday weekend. It is North West Colorado and a true little hidden gem. It was so good to have almost all of the siblings and significant others present. Let me tell you, When you have a big family, holiday weekends can be quite crazy and chaotic. We have fun but we sure do like to argue. 🤣
One of the major highlights of the weekend was taking a nice long horseback ride in Roosevelt national forest as a whole family. It was such a treat and I highly recommend hoping on a horse any chance you get because it’s very therapeutic and so serene just roaming the mountains and seeing all the beautiful columbines and wild flowers everywhere.

Another really cool thing this month was I got to hike the Manitou Springs Incline. If you don’t know what that is, it is a trail of completely stairs that go straight up 1 mile. It was surprise for one of my clients 45th birthday that I was showing up to hike with her. It had been her goal to do it and since losing over 75lbs in the last year working with me, her best friend was going to hike it with her and she called me up as a surprise. Since working with my client she has completely changed her entire life around and I couldn’t be more proud of her, so of course I hiked the mile long staircase with her! It was so fun to see her surprise and she cried her eyes out because it meant so much to her to have me there with her as I have been with her, her entire journey of health and fitness.

Now that’s enough of me babbling on about me. Let’s get to the nitty gritty of my favorites for the month of July.
Hotel Nantucket: Elin Hilderbrand does it again in this amazing novel about a refurbished haunted hotel on Nantucket! I adore her books and patiently wait for every book she writes. Story summary: “After a tragic fire in 1922 that killed 19-year-old chambermaid, Grace Hadley, The Hotel Nantucket descended from a gilded age gem to a mediocre budget-friendly lodge to inevitably an abandoned eyesore — until it’s purchased and renovated top to bottom by London billionaire, Xavier Darling.” Scandal, mystery, romance, and of course the coastal Nantucket charm all wrapped into one book! Check it out! The best part is that Elin included a PDF download of her “Blue Book” a guide to all things Nantucket which is such a nice touch if you ever plan on visiting the island.
Horse Print Shirt: When I saw this shirt online I had to have it! It immediately reminded me of a book that my parents bought me for Christmas one year when I was like 7 or 8 about all the different types of horses there are and I used to love looking at that book. I was and still am a cowgirl at heart and a horse lover forever 🙂 If only I could convince my hubby to let me have a couple horses, that would be the day!
Free People Harness Belt: This is a trend I easily jumped on this season. I chose this harness belt because of the western vibe it gave me and the suede leather is super thick and very quality. I purchased a xs/s and thought it ran a little on the larger side and had to cinch it as small as I could make it. I was very pleased with this purchase and can’t wait to start styling it with blouses and dresses! It easily elevates any outfit giving it that western chic look.
Dog Sleeping Bag: If you have been following along for a while you know that I love to spoil my fur baby Lulu rotten! I also have a huge love for all products from Wilderdog which is a company out of California. They donate 1lb of dog food for every single order they receive. This sleeping bag was an immediate hit with Lulu. She loved to lay on top and I put treats on the inside and eventually she crawled inside. I know if she was cold she would be curled up in it, no doubt. The fabric is so durable and very well made overall. Its super comfy and cozy and I know she will love it on all our camping adventures!
Home Fragrance Beach Cottage by Homesick: This My Pura device fragrance refill has uplifted my home into a coastal getaway experience. I have a monthly subscription for fragrances throughout the year that I swap depending on the season. Of course because it is summertime I wanted a fresh and outdoor scent that wasn’t woodsy. This scent may be my new favorite summertime scent. I love walking into my home to smell salty ocean air with hot sand under foot. Afternoon tides leave driftwood, seaweed, and conch shells scattered along the shore. It feels like a vacation every-time you come home. Scent Notes- Top: bergamot, sandalwood Middle: marine, plumeria, musk Bottom: sea air, tonka bean, amber. I can not talk highly enough about Pura devices and all the fragrance options they offer. Every single fragrance is thoughtfully designed to never include harsh chemicals. They avoid ingredients known to cause potential harm to health or the environment. Every fragrance is safe and ethically sourced. It beats the heck outta trying to come up with good essential oil blends and knowing what goes good together into your diffuser. Now don’t get me wrong I love my doterra essential oils but I really love My Pura fragrances and the fact that I can schedule them to come on at certain times of the day.

Well friends! Stay fabulous and we will chat again next month 🙂
