Mini Straw Bag: Hand made in Morocco these bags are ethically sourced and made for a small woman owned business in Houston TX. Colores Collective. She has numerous bags to choose from and will even personalize them for you two, by hand painting your initials on them. She hand picks her bags in Morocco every season and brings them home with her. It is fun to watch her journey and to see her trips to pick her favorite items from her vendors.

Leather Boots: In preparation for the upcoming fall and winter which always leaves me stumped on footwear I decided to invest in a new pair of leather boots that weren’t cowgirl boots. I have fallen in love with these FreeBird Cora boots and I cannot get enough of that all real leather smell they have. It fills my closet and my room whenever the box is open. These boots I sized up in from my usual 6-6.5 and got a 7 which fit me perfect. I love that they are edgy yet classic and you can dress them up or down. Another thing I really like about them is that they add height without being too much of a heel and that they have a significant tread on the bottom which their other boots do not. Yes they are an investment for a long lasting piece to your well collected closet however, in my opinion less is more and I would rather have fewer pairs of shoes and have higher quality products that cost a little more.

Reversible Ball Vase: I recently started purchasing pottery items for again another small woman owned company here in the US all pieces are hand made and hand painted in small batches and limited quantities. For Petes Sake Pottery has the most darling unique items and I like to get a piece for each holiday for my entry table, that I have too much fun decorating each season. I really like this little vase because you can spin it around and leave it out for after the fourth of July to just display floral pattern instead of the flag. It is such a cute addition to my little collection 🙂

Fourth of July Banner: I can’t get over these banners that I recently discovered via a friend online. Lemon House Designs makes the most adorable home decor items and I wish I could have them all. I knew I had to have her fireworks and freedom banner for my entry table this year and It turned out amazing!

Soma Pjs: I first saw these in the catalog that got mailed to my house. Yes I actually look at them. I said oooo I like that bright yellow color. I have a client who manages the Soma here in Colorado Springs and so I went in and she hooked a girl up with some cute new Pjs. They are soft and lightweight but made really well and durable. My husband even thinks they are cute too which is a rarity. I plan on getting others in a different color too. Since the yellow is a summer color it is sold out now but I bet they come out with other colors here for the new fall season coming up.
