This month we had the honor of going to a very sweet, small and very intimate wedding up in one of our favorite places Steamboat Springs CO! A good friend of ours had such a special day out in the middle of no where in some aspen trees and it was so beautiful! Dinner was fabulous and it you ever get to eat at Aurum in Steamboat I highly recommend it!
I’ve been on a little bit of a western kick with my fashion which I am not sad about. I love turquoise and silver jewelry and have enjoyed dusting off my boots. I have been searching the inter-webs for unique and fun pieces to add to my well collected closet and I think you will enjoy some of these awesome finds I am bringing you this month. Check out my monthly favorites for the month of August below!
Hair on Hide Purse: I found this brand on instagram and now I want all her purses. All handmade from scratch with lots of love in limited quantities each drop from a talented woman in Saratoga WY! Her designs are chic and make a western purse extremely fashionable at a fantastic price! You get that designer look while supporting a one woman show in WY. This bag is expertly hand crafted and such a dream to carry. It comes with two straps a shoulder strap and a normal carrying handle which are both removable. I was so sad when I missed the original drop of this bag and had to wait an entire month to get on a waitlist and then a preorder list. It exceeded all of my expectations and I am already on the lookout to add another one of her bags to my collection. The town of Saratoga is a quaint little place to visit. Growing up on the Northern border of CO and WY my family would often go camping or to the hot springs there. I have many fond memories of visiting there and purchasing this bag makes me think of all of our crazy family road trips throughout Wyoming and South Dakota.
Retro Biker Fringe Jacket: Let me start by telling you this is a forever investment and a true closet staple. This jacket will last your lifetime if taken care of properly and will always be in style. The leather jacket is top on everyone’s closet must have’s and this particular one takes the cake! I originally saw it on an add for a western branded perfume. I did a little digging and found the designer a small woman owned business out of California who designs luxury western outerwear. I bought this jacket as a gift to myself for my 30th birthday this year but who am I kidding I keep saying that about all my purchases 🙂 It is extremely well made and smells so amazing. It is very heavy and super thick real leather which I just love about it. The Fringe is really long and it makes me feel like such a badass Annie Oakley! Fun tidbit fact about me when I was young we had to pick a historic person to be for a day in 4th grade and I was Annie Oakley!
Pink Boots: The lovely Miss Miranda Lambert has a boot collection now called Idyllwind. What girl can say no to pink snip toe boots! I mean really these are show stoppers! These pink booties are my first pair from her collection and I think I spied a pair of tall purple boots for her fall collection that I may just have to order too! Colors make me happy! These boots I got my usual size 6.5 and they fit good and are TTS but keep in mind they do run narrow since they are a snip toe. Super comfy and love the metal toe cap detail too
Suede Western Belt: Did you know that Free People has western inspired accessories? Well last month you saw that I got their harness belt which I love. They have these really affordable suede leather belts with a western flare buckle on them. The black rock western belt I got the black because you can wear that with everything but I am thinking I want the light baby blue belt next. I got the xs/s size and it fits great with plenty of holes depending if I wear it with high waist jeans or a mid rise. Good quality without breaking the bank. I will order another one soon!
Horse Wrap Dress: I don’t usually buy super cheap dresses but I saw this on a western influencers page and I loved the colors! I have never ordered anything from Shein before so I was pretty skeptical. I ordered my usual size the xs and it fits a little snug but would have been too big if I ordered any other size. I was so excited because it looks super expensive but was only like $14 haha which is just crazy to me. It is a satin fabric and def needs to be steamed but I love it!

I had so much fun finding these amazing items and I love that my new jacket is timeless and so is my new hair on hide bag! YAY for fun finds! As always happy shopping and tag me if you order any of these beautiful fashion pieces.
I already have next months list all ready for you guys!
Talk to you in a few weeks!
